- SE Stan: Whaatt Damon got with Caroline after she clearly showed her attraction towards him but since she figured out what he was and got scared he compelled her to not be afraid and to continue having sex with him? Omg rapist alert!!!!
- 1920's Stefan: *compels girls to have sex with him*
- SE Stan: He was just lonely and in need of love.
- Stefan: *kills literally thousands of people*
- SE Stan: He wasn't himself if he had his humanity he wouldn't have done that but he feels guilty so it's okay.
- Damon: *kills a few supporting characters while his humanity was off*

- Reasonable Person: Actually it wasn't revealed to them until 4x08. So it was just sex, and he didn't use it or even SAY that he wanted to have sex with her, the sire bond only works when he blatantly says he wants her to do something.
